About Krystalixa
Just what is Krystalixa? An adoptables website, a graphics website, a fansite, and much more. But really, what is "Krystalixa?" No, not some sort of pain medication... *stares pointedly at Zephyr* It's a world in a distant galaxy (the Pinwheel Galaxy, to be exact ^^), consisting of a large ocean, a single supercontinent, and several smaller islands. The living things that inhabit this world are separated into two main groups: the Kreatures (the animals) and the Kryteids (the plants). These beings have many wonderful qualities, including an ability to adapt almost instantaneously to any environment, so all species are widespread.
Krystal Graphix - A Brief History
Myst (Katie Forgy) began creating adoptables back in 2005 on Starbits Pets. She used a Starjournal (an item that allows the user to create a small webpage), MS Paint, and her obsession with cats to create a Kitty Adoption Agency for Starbits users to enjoy. That summer, she decided to open a combination adoptables website and Starbits Pets fansite. The original Krystalixa was known as Krystal Palace, and quickly changed to Krystal Graphix within a couple of months. It was hosted on Geocities, and became a frequent visit for many of Bita's residents.

Myst eventually outgrew Geocities, gained a full (legal) version of Photoshop Elements 2, and transferred over to byethost in 2007. With the transfer and new software, the site got a spiffy new layout and many new features, including music codes, a forum, an oekaki and cursors. It quickly became popular with people outside of SBP for its animated monthly hatching eggs. However, due several factors (Myst's schoolwork, a crappy computer and the sudden loss of website login information) the site became frozen in time around Christmas 2007, unedited and seemingly forgotten.
Now, however, Krystalixa is currently being rebuilt, and is celebrating its official Grand Re-Opening. Myst has several surprises in store in the coming months, so be sure to check back frequently! :D
